hi guys, my dad wants to buy a car for me because of my 22 brithday and its in august (cant wait) but i cant decide, i love both, right now i have bmw 335i 2009, i am bmw fan but i really like 4s too, im watching both cars review in youtube nearly every day and every hour

To be honest, I never got the BMW.
While it is fun to drive, it has no real other value, and drops in return resale very quickly.
For example, there is no one out there collecting old BMWs.
That is because they don’t build to be maintained or worked on.
Body parts are welded instead of bolted, no parts are shared with other cars, so there is no 3rd party distribution or inventory.
So the only people who buy them are people who don’t care about money or value, but are just self indulgent. That tainted the whole brand. In general the rest of the population looks at BMW owners as jerk.
That is not true of Porsche.
It is not a foolish investment to buy a Porsche, because not only will it drive better than a BMW, but it will retain value forever. It will not be hard to maintain it, it will always be drivable, it can easily be resold, and those who own Porsches are respected for their understanding of the fine value a Porsche represents.
But if you are the kind of person who just buys a new car every few year just to show off, then get a BMW. It is the perfect car for that.
