Porsche Panamera review – CarBuyer

Full review: www.carbuyer.co.uk Porsche could be criticised for being lacking a sense of adventure when it comes to design, but its dedication to providing a fantastic driving experience shines through with the Panamera. This oddly proportioned hatchback is Porsche’s first ‘saloon’, yet the German firm has injected it with the DNA of a sports car.

If the rear hatch was more like the one on the cls, with a more distinct separation between the rear glass and bodywork the car would look much better

to be honest, i like having more buttons in a car as well; my mom and stepdad recently bought a used a6 and while it is really nice inside, i can’t get away from the fact that being able to adjust the fan, or heater or radio in my 2000 M class is just a button, or wheel turn away. And also being an actual button, you don’t have to spend time watching a screen, when you should be watching the road

the steering wheel is on the wrong side

i’ve seen it a hundred times, it gets ugly’er every time. porsche is supposed to be a 2 door coupe, not a silly 4 door saloon or suv!

  • TheKrasnaludek:

Nice looking, but the Cadillac CTS-V will run with this at far less coin. The Porsche interior is top-notch; no arguing there.

    2:25 BMW F10…so nice

With the sport design body kit and a few other things put externally you can radically change how the car looks specially the bulb like rear! Second the three spoke steering wheel is for the PDK it has proper shift paddles the multifunction steering wheel is for the manual gearbox and it doesn’t have those shifters on it when used on that gearbox! There are some tweaks and careful choices with options but most complaints people have with the car can be addressed!

@Twsit133 I know ive seen it lots of times, i think its a fantastic looking car

You don’t need to guess where actual front of your car is if you can drive a car.
    There are little secrets.
You can virtualy bind a main edges of your car to the interior details inside the car. You want to project eges outside to inside. It alow me to drive in parking up to 100 km/h with confidence if i need to and to park car safe in every condition.
No wonder man laughs at you, because you nooby.

  • sangeeth1991:

    Sorry mate.He is laughing at me…. :p

I’m sure the Panamera Gen2, when Porsche refines the awkward rear styling and sheds a few hundred pounds, will be a triple threat (right now, it’s just double).

  • MrNu287:
