Om Mani Padme Hum

The mantra Om Mani Padme Hum (literally: “Aum, to the Jewel in the Lotus, hum) is recited by Tibetan Buddhists to invoke Chenrezi, the Bodhisattva of Compassion. Repeating this mantra accumulates merit and eases negative karma; meditating upon it is believed to purify the mind and body. Spinning prayer wheels, physical or digital, are believed to confer the same benefit as speaking the mantra. It is often recited with the aid of a mala (string of prayer beads.) ************************************************************************ Do you make these mistakes in your meditation? @thereformator Hi from Switzerland but I am Vietnamese. There are many books or information in internet. But I recommend books of zen master Thich Nhat Hanh because his teaching is so simple to understand and practice easily. He wrote over 100 books and often best seller in spritial one. You can take part in retreat in his monarchy. But I wonder if you can have a chance because he is always around the word : singapore, thailand, taiwan, japan (18 avril), then Germany and Dutch.

  • mohanrudra:

the chant is OM MANI PADME HUM. It is sanskrit, but it appears as OUM MANI PEMME HUM. and most Buddhists and Tibetans pray like this.

  • DRAGONKINGOFTIBET:

THIS MANTRA IF PRAYED BY ONE SINGLE SOUL WILL BENEIFT ZILLIONS OF MANKIND EVEN AFTER WE HAVE LEFT EARTH . SO ITS THE NIRVANA PLEA FOR ALL PEOPLE TO ATTAIN SALVATION INCLUDING UR SELF . BUDDHISM ROCKS FOR ME AND IS THE RELIGION OF THE FUTURE . EINSTEIN SAYS FUTURE RELIGION WOULD BE COSMIC AND WHAT BETTER THEN TO PERCIEVE BUDDHISM AS BEING THE ONE . KUDOS EINSTEIN .
