@iamgodlike91 SLR won this race. It passed the GTR after it went to 3rd gear.
@steven4rmnewyork GTR is only good to 100mph. It lags terribly after that. Hennesy performance had their 900hp gtr at the texas mile and it only got to 187mph. Brabus built 750 hp slr got to 204 mph in the same distance with less power and equal weight. Aerodynamics my friend. GTR takes 3.7 seconds as does SLR. They are the same to 60 but to 100 and beyond, GTR sucks. Look at inside videos. An audi R8 catches a GTR and it’s 0-60 is 4.4 seconds.
@TKLica yeah 722 out of a mclaren engine not even built by mercedes on the other hand you have a twin turbo v-6 yeah a v-6 made by nissan with over 800 horsepower would destoy a mclaren. in this race he didnt even use launch controlm to hit 60 in 3 seconds. . so while the mclaren is sitting there fighting for traction the gtr has opulled away 2 car lenths and gone..dumb fuck
@TKLica in youur dreams..that P800 is as fast as a LPE ZR1 Vette which has 680 hp..which beats the slr 722..

Gtr is faster 0-60 but the slr has higher top speed and will pass the gtr at 100MPH

@masonizere gtr are nice cars and the numbers that car puts up are phenomenal but its also been proven that ALL gt-r’s have different 0 to 60 times, i seen one where it took 4.1 seconds. and the AWD gt-r is not really good drifters. a gtr you can try to drift but it fights back and stays pretty planted, unlike drifting in like a vette and viper which you can have going completely sideways
put there the GTR P800..it would rape the overpriced SLR

yes your right, the SLR was never a true supercar, or a track car. What it does have over the GTR is every day user friendliness. You buy the GTR for a relativley low price, because lets face it, its a Nissan. What you get with that is the user friendliness of a track day car. which might i add is unbearable unless the road is baby smooth. I’m sure the SLR can’t keep up with the GTR the same way the GTR cannot keep up with the new SLS AMG, not eve the V-spec can.
No face the facts its been proven on many reviews and videos that the GTR does 0 – 60 in 3.5 and yes the GTR is a good car it is what other supercar is a four seater saloon which beats cars that costs double or even triple the amount. A car which drifts and handles and is fast for £53,000 you get what you paid for and and extra…i love the SLR but around a track it just can’t keep up with the GTR’s brillance
@masonizere 3.5 seconds is not realistic, its more like 3.8. You cannot compare a nissan, as good as a car it is. which it is, to a Mercedes Benz. ESPECIALLY an SLR, even thoug its much older and less technolgical than the gtr. Compare the GTR to the SLS and thats a fight where the gtr is spanked
0.4 second slower and the GTR is 158 bhp less and 220 kg heavier with a v6 3.8 litre i think that is the better car which doesnt fall apart…
