How much could I get for my 2005 Hyundai Elantra?

Question by Julie: How much could I get for my 2005 Hyundai Elantra?
2005 Hyundai Elantra
51,000 miles (city miles)
Houston, TX
Good Condition
No Accidents

Do you think it would be possible to get $ 10,000?
I’ve done KBB and another site. The worth was about $ 8,000-$ 10,000. What I’m asking is if there is anyone, in their professional opion, or in their knowledge know whether it’s actually possible to get about $ 10k.

Go to http://www.kbb.com

That’s the Kelly Blue book site. Dealers and consumers alike look to this site to find out how much cars are worth.

  • UCANTCME:

    NO.

JUST CHECKING THE BASIC MODEL RETAIL IN VERY EXCELLENT CONDITION IS GOING FOR $ 9400.00.

You can go to KBB.com (Kelly Blue Book) and enter all your car information to get a very good estimate. You gave some info, but there is more that needs to be added, such as does it have a stereo with CD changer, satellite radio, a spoiler, power seats, heated seats, four door or two door, etc. All those questions are listed as multiple choice on KBB and you will get an estimate of both what you can sell it for yourself and what the trade-in value might be on it. I’d go there for the best answer.
