yea i think big bad lambo would beat it from stand still it has thrust mode, and has the most savage centricical clutch systems i mean 0-62 in less than 2.9 secs. besides the 458 is a v8 its thrust could keep up and maintain like a v12(my opinion)

The 458 is a great car not because of how fast it is but because of what a great drive it is. You can balance it right on the limit with the throttle. You can’t do that with turbos, you ruin the handling balance. Putting a pair of turbos on a 458 is like putting a pair of Nikes on a ballerina. Leave the turbos to the Vipers and Corvettes on which there is no handling balance to be lost. If you feel the need to put turbos on a 458, you bought the 458 for the wrong reason, e.g. penis substitute.

Why the hell would you want to twin turbo that awesome N/A V8 in the 458. Meh. Be far better modding a F40 if you want a twin turbo v8 ferrari, looks a millions times better and it’s a million times cooler.

and? the aventador has a 6.5L V12 vs 4.5L V8 …. no shit the lambo would be faster with twin turbo on a drag race even with the weight disadvantage….
your still 90k shy of it being twice the price. Thats damn near a brand new GT-R which by the way beats the 458 on the straights and the track for $140k less.
The 458 is the most beautiful thing Ferrari has made in a LONG time but its over priced for the power you get.

The Ferrari twin turbo went up against a stock Lambo…….
Dont forget that the Lambo is awd and looses way more power to the wheels. If you do the math the Lambo is only 50 or so hp up on the Ferrari. Crank or bhp numbers mean jack shit when comparing a rwd car to an awd car. Its allll about wheel horsepower.
Granted it has four more cylinders but its no where near twice as much $380k to $236K
The Aventador is only twice as much with 4 more cylinders..
