the 2007-2010 Hyundai Elantra was assembled in
    Seoul, South Korea

@sideburns2009 Yeah I am as guilty as you are but why would I go back and find two year old comments and delete them? How about you simply see the date and realize it’s OLD and not reply? Anyway I’m done dealing with you. Your arguing with a 17 year old. I mean you really take me serious?

  • sideburns2009:

@vboi423 If you don’t want people replying, then delete your 2 year old comment. If it’s not that serious, then why are you replying back? You’re just as guilty as I am.

  • vboi423:

@sideburns2009 Regardless if I can’t stand corrected or not, why does this matter to you so much? My post was 2 years old! Plus I said “Maybe I should have said ‘Full Size SUV’ be begin with.” In my previous post because I had a Tahoe in mind when making that post. A F150 is still a Full Size Pickup Truck. Google It. Anyway how old are you because it’s really NOT that serious.

  • sideburns2009:

@vboi423 Hey genious. An SUV and a Full Size Truck are TWO DIFFERENT THINGS. You don’t know much about vehicles do you? A Chevy Tahoe is a FULL SIZE SUV, unlike a Blazer. A Silverado or F-150 is a FULL SIZE TRUCK. I’m pursuing this argument because you can’t seem to stand corrected.

  • vboi423:

@sideburns2009 No stuff sherlock. A semi-truck is like a tractor trailer. But what are you even arguing with me for? An SUV classifies as a Tahoe, etc. as I stated in my original post. A pick-up truck is what you named, the F150. Now your naming a semi-truck? That’s a tractor trailer you genius! Please just stop because I’m not understanding why your even pursuing this stupid argument.

  • sideburns2009:

@vboi423 A Full Size Truck is NOT a Semi-Truck. That is a Semi-Truck. I’m not arguing just clearing up a false statement. Try “full size truck” on google images. tell me what you see.

  • vboi423:

@sideburns2009 I’m not understand why your WANTING an argument but you should look at your own advice. The F150 CLEARLY says “Full Size Pickup Truck” and every truck you named was in that list. Clearly different from a “Full Size Truck”. Maybe I should have said “Full Size SUV” to begin with. Since you obviously take this TOO seriously.

  • sideburns2009:

@vboi423 As is the Dodge Ram, Chevy Silverado/GMC Sierra, Toyota Tunda, and Nissan Titan. Google “Full size truck”.

  • sideburns2009:

@vboi423 Then maybe you should recollect your knowledge of what a “full size truck” actually is. An F-150 is marketed and sold as one thousands of times a year.

  • vboi423:

@sideburns2009 F150s are pickup trucks. I wouldn’t put them in the category of “full sized trucks”.

  • sideburns2009:

@vboi423 size has nothing to do with the safety of a vehicle. look at this small car’s crash test results and compare it to the full size f-150 of 1 or 2 generations ago. that thing is huge compared to this car and it crumpled up the cab like a coke can.

  • Trevrz1:

@ericsteven76 newer cars are designed to take the brunt of impact at the crumple zones away from the cabin- and you wouldn’t be dead. Try more research.

  • ericsteven76:

i caused $5600 in damages to my 2007 hyundai elantra in a 10mph rear end wouldnt recomend buying one.researched has worst front collision of any car.if i was going 50mph i would be dead.not a safe car.

  • vboi423:

I doubt that, maybe a inexpensive SUV but not a full sized truck.

  • OHENTERPRISE:

i bet that car win against a truck :)

  • capitalIDEA111:

Not a very good crash tes. Frontal offset with simulated crumple zone on the barrier better represents a real world crash where you may hit an oncoming vehicle. Hitting a flat wall spreads the damage better and is an ideal condition under which the crumple zone would protect you.

  • tryinganew:

wow, but isn’t there supposed to be some damage absorption for not to transfer the impact to the passengers?

  • Machiavelli1513:

And to add validity to your statement, the 2007 Elantra was built with a 49% stiffer structure than the 2006. Resulting in a safer, stabler, and more smoother ride. I rented one for a week and loved it. Once I get enough dough I will buy one.

  • Impressed442:

Yup thats an Elantra looks exactly like mine only with the stocke wheel and not in black.

  • rich96:

although most vids on here are of partial front impact, this car turned out awesome. Take away the warped up hood and you could drive that thing. Looks like its built like a rock.

  • Vitaminous:

    Oh, correct.

I mistook it for the Accent.

  • rich96:

    yes..it is

  • Vitaminous:

    That’s no Elantra…
