I have a laptop and a tablet and I use my laptop strictly for school work. If I’m not reading books on my tablet in the bus, I’m watching movies on it or browing the net. Tablets are extremely convenient. Heck, I was lost the other day and used the GPS on my tablet. The amount of things you can do with a 350 tablet is insane. Mine is more powerful than any laptop from a few years ago and certainly better than a crappy netbook that you can’t even do work on.
If this anti glare coating is the same as Polarization, Circular, it should in theory be great for 3d movies/games. Ive seen the Prime advertised on some sites as being able to play 3d games, of course youd need those 3D glasses from RealD you get at theatres, but I havent seen other sites advertise the Prime for 3D content.
The first Transformer Prime supports a lot of video formats, Im sure also music formats. Unlike the Toshiba Thrive the Prime has no problems with video playing smooth. The Toshiba Thrive can play some video files but the audio wont work, its like your PC if you get the right Codecs the audio works, but tablets I dont think use Codecs. Im ordering a Prime so Ill learn more when I get one.
I was a little disappointed with the Sony s tablet. It’s okay but doesn’t compare to the iPad 2 or asus transformer pad prime.

I can’t tell which display is better between the two since output of the text were not the same (different books). Overall, you made sony really special here but based on my years of experience as consumer, there’s always better options than sony when paying for the same amount of money (spec wise).
