its quite simple how it works. you can even see the plate slightly stopping at each point the robot picks. its very simple programming, whether they run from the same processor or not. I guess that they run from the same processor that calculates the position of the plate then simply moves to that position using inverse kinematics. all the robot picker will have to do is remember what point on the plate to pick from. this can be done with simple ZYX calculations from a center point of the plate.

@holyguachamole I figured that out the second I finished reading the description. It clearly says what the point was. If you struggle to think outside the box then perhaps the answer to your question would truly be mind boggling. Good thing there are ones that do think outside the box that allow us to progress ahead instead of sitting still and spinning our wheels as if we was satisfied with our current technology.
