Zune HD September 15 release!
According to this leaked display stand the official date you can pick up your Zune HD is September 15, 2009. Price points for the 32GB are estimated to be less than $300.
I cant wait! Not that I will buy one right away but at least it will be available when I am able to get it.
I had a chance to play with the Zune HD first hand it was very impressed. I already liked the Zune software better than iTunes but now the UI is much more fluid, has a browser, built in HD Radio tuner, WiFi, HD video out, and a bunch of other stuff I am sure you have read about elsewhere.
Now how about that Zune Phone?

Bikini Humanthesizer
Mostly badass because it has bikini models but it is pretty cool that electronic musician Calvin Harris has partnered with Sony Music UK to build this Humanthesizer.
Basically they worked with Bare conductive body ink (imagine being the ink applier) to play Harris’ song “Ready For The Weekend†using the movements of the 15 ladies.

End of the PC Video Port?

Logitec Japan is releasing a USB to DVI dongle that is reported to support true HD QWXGA resolution of 2048×1152. SWEET!!
They are also claiming it will support PC and Mac, although the Mac resolution is only 1920×1200. I cant wait to add monitors without adding video cards, not to mention get the badass screen resolution…
Now the bad news for those of us NOT in Japan… So far there have been no plans announced to release outside of Japan but you can always purchase it online at GeekStuff4u.com for only $136.29 USD, direct link here: http://www.geekstuff4u.com/usb-to-dvi-full-hd-and-qwxga-dongle.html

T-Mobile Smoking Something? $350 HTC Touch Pro 2

What is T-Mobile smoking with the $350 price tag on the HTC Touch Pro 2, a phone that is supposed to compete with the iPhone and Android phones?
Sure the suggested retail is $550, and you get a whopping $200 instant discount, if you agree to another 2 years, BUT you are still paying $250 MORE than the $99 iPhone…
Come on T-Mobile! As a customer (barely) and Microsoft fanboy lower the price to compete properly in the market!!
